Overview
If so at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Longton Extra in the ST3 2JB area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Please note that although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.
Responsibilities
* Ensure fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well-stocked.
* Comply with merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance.
* Follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
* Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
* Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
* Build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
* Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application, acting as the eyes and ears in the stores.
Working days/hours
Friday 12:30pm-5:30pm
Saturday 12:00pm-5:30pm
Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm
Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed.
What makes you excellent
* Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to take ownership of your work within set time frames and use your own initiative to find solutions.
* Pride in delivering great standards and service for clients.
* Comfort with manual handling and the ability to move and arrange products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
* Willingness to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra).
* Confidence using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about tasks.
* A full UK driving license and access to a car is required.
