An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, creative teacher who is passionate about the teaching of Art and Design. We are looking to recruit a teacher able to successfully contribute to the whole school ethos of Learn, Grow, Thrive and Flourish and to effectively develop excellence in learning and teaching and wellbeing. If you are the exceptional Teacher of Art and Design that we are looking for, you will:
•Be highly effective in the classroom, drawing on a wide range of pedagogical practices to meet the needs of all learners, successfully supporting and challenging learners as they progress through school;
•Demonstrate infectious enthusiasm for the teaching of Art and Design, creating a dynamic yet purposeful learning environment for pupils;
•Support the Art and Design team in developing learning and teaching by sharing best pedagogical practices to secure learner progression at KS3-5;
•Support the Expressive Arts AOLE team in developing learning and teaching by sharing best pedagogical practices to secure learner progression at KS3
•Willing to actively engage in collaborative professional learning opportunities and promote effective collaboration within the AOLE
•Help to develop a range of extracurricular activities to offer learners
•Support the Expressive Arts AoLE in the development of a broad and inclusive curriculum that aligns with the school’s ethos.
•Develop the confidence of our learners to enjoy learning and to participate fully in the life of the school community.
The Expressive Arts AoLE is a supportive, forward-looking team with an excellent record of pupil achievements at GCSE and A Level.
