Location: Whittlesey, Peterborough
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Pattern: 1 in 6 weekends, no out-of-hours or on-call
A modern and welcoming veterinary practice in Whittlesey, near Peterborough, is currently seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their friendly and experienced team. The clinic has recently undergone refurbishment and offers a bright, spacious working environment with excellent facilities and a committed, supportive team including a Lead Vet with a medicine certificate, Head Nurse, and Practice Manager.
Located on the edge of the beautiful Fenlands and just 6 miles from Peterborough, the area combines countryside charm with easy access to London via direct rail links from Peterborough station.

Role Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional care to patients and clients consistently
* Assist with surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-operative care
* Carry out nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 activities
* Monitor patients and ensure high standards of inpatient care
* Manage admissions and discharges under veterinary direction
* Support medication dispensing and checks
* Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
* Participate in team briefings and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic
Candidate Requirements:
* Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered)
* Proven experience in delivering excellent patient and client care
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
* Familiar with supporting nurse consultations and understanding their impact on clinical performance
* Skilled in coaching and collaboration, able to positively influence team dynamics
