Hays have partnered with a leading telecoms provider to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the deployment/delivery of their retail store connectivity upgrades. With the discovery and planning phase done, this role will be pure deployment: so, if you're a strong Project Manager with a background in network and retail transformations (preferably within telecoms environments), then we want to hear from you.
Role: Network Project Manager
Length: 12 months (+ likely extension)
Location: Stoke
Hybrid: Yes (2 days in-office)
Rate: £750 - £850/day via Umbrella
Your new role and what you'll need to succeed
Lead the nationwide retail rollout of the fixed network across the full store estate, driving alignment between Retail, Technology and key delivery partners.
Own end‑to‑end programme planning, managing milestones, risks, dependencies and cross‑functional delivery to keep the rollout on track.
Ensure flawless store readiness and execution, minimising trading disruption and overseeing deployment, cutover and validation activity in every location.
Drive governance and stakeholder confidence, delivering clear reporting, decision‑making clarity and strong senior‑level engagement.
Champion continuous improvement, optimising rollout efficiency, hypercare support, defect management and overall store experience.
