Malvern Tyres require a Assistant Manager for our Taunton depot on a full-time basis.
The Role:
As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the depot, including the following duties when the manager isn't present, but must have management experience
. Tyre fitting exprience
· Stock management
· Liaising with suppliers, customers and senior management
· Managing and motivating your team to achieve branch targets
· Ensuring the depot provides excellent customer service at all times
· Using our computer system to monitor stock, log completed jobs, generate customer invoices and monitor sales against targets
· Maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring that your team follow company procedures at all times
As the assistant manager of a small team, you'll also need to lead by example, fitting and repairing tyres on cars and vans, handling cash payments and using the computer system to log completed jobs and generate customer invoices.

Requirements:
We're looking for someone who is reliable, has a 'can do' attitude, excellent time keeping and works well under pressure, multi-tasking to meet deadlines.
We need you to have:
· A full UK driving licence
· Experience working in a busy garage, specifically tyre fitting experience
· A positive and self-motivated attitude
· The ability to lead a team
· The ability to communicate in a professional but friendly and approachable way
It would be great if you have:
· Mechanical knowledge,
· Previous experience managing people in a busy garage or similar environment
· A basic level of computer skills
