Behaviour Mentor – Bricket Wood (Temp to Perm)

Salary: £90–£110 per day (DOE)

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work with students in Bricket Wood, starting ASAP. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting students with behavioural or emotional challenges, and be driven to help students thrive academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide in-class support and lead small-group behaviour interventions
* Help students overcome barriers to learning caused by behavioural or emotional difficulties
* Mentor students to enhance their confidence, resilience, and motivation
* Collaborate with teaching staff to create and maintain a positive, respectful learning environment
* Record and monitor behaviour incidents, contributing to effective intervention strategies
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in supporting young people with behavioural needs in school or youth settings
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships quickly
* A calm, patient, and consistent approach to behaviour support
* Passionate about promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and student wellbeing
* A team player with a proactive attitude towards personal and professional growth
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
