About the role Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Utilities Co-ordinator to join our A57 Mottram project in Manchester. As a Regional Utilities Co-ordinator, you will be tasked with ensuring that the project is compliant to BB Internal Business management systems (BMS) for working near utilities. Providing site support producing and monitoring Utilities permits as well as interfacing with utility companies for utility diversions. Balfour Beatty Highways maintain, manage, and operate major highway networks across the UK and support local authorities creating communities where people want to live work and play. What you'll be doing Production, auditing, approving, and monitoring of Permits to Dig as per PAS128 Working with the construction team to ensure Permits are in place in advance of works and marked out clearly. Liaise with the Utility owners to ensure the correct permissions are in place. Assisting the Utilities Manager/Regional Utilities lead to ensure the project is compliant with internal Business management System relating to working near services and other client/industry requirements or best practise. Ensuring site awareness of Utilities policy and BMS requirements Interfacing with audit function to support the Utilities Team with Management System audits. Have extensive experience in scanning and marking out services to assist the utilities Engineer when needed. Assistance with ensuring Utility diversions are completed on time and budget Who we're looking for BSc in relevant field (preferable) Holds a valid CSCS Card.
