Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Building Design team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and a passion for creating innovative and sustainable building designs. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and construction of various building projects, ensuring their structural integrity and safety.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with architects and other engineers to design and develop structural systems for new building projects
* Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure that designs meet safety and building code requirements
* Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and reports for building structures
* Review and approve construction plans and provide on‑site support during the construction phase
* Utilize software and tools to model and simulate structural designs for performance evaluation
* Stay updated with the latest industry standards, codes, and regulations related to structural engineering
Candidate Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
* Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
* Proven experience in structural design and analysis for building projects
* Proficiency in structural engineering software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro
* Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
* Passion for sustainability and innovative building design
