About Our Client
We are seeking two part-time Support Workers to join the care team for a friendly, sociable, and resilient 9-year-old girl with severe Cerebral Palsy (CP), sight impairment, and profound learning difficulties.
She requires a high level of care, including:
* Overnight ventilator (CPAP) with saturation monitoring
* Feeding and hydration via mic-key button and feed pump (8:30pm – midnight)
* Regular repositioning and CPAP replacement
* Seizure management (episodes vary in length and severity)
Our client lives at home with her parents and attends a specialist school during term time. At home, she enjoys engaging in activities she loves and thrives with patient, supportive care.
Experience in paediatric complex care is desirable, but full training will be provided.
Who We're Looking For
We want caring, reliable individuals who can build a meaningful relationship with our client and support her independence.
Essential qualities:
* Patient, kind, and child-focused
* Fun, outgoing, and able to maintain clear boundaries
* Strong verbal communicator, with accurate record-keeping and respect for confidentiality
Preferable (not essential – at least one successful candidate should have these):
* Experience supporting children with seizures
* Full, clean driving licence (to drive a wheelchair-accessible vehicle)
Additional Information

* Posts are subject to two satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check, and disclosure.

* You will have ongoing support from a Case Manager and HR Consultant.
