This role is primarily based at a manufacturing site in Stalybridge, supporting operations focused onRotational Moulding Compounds and Powders, with occasional travel to other sites within the wider group as required.
This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a stable working environment and competitive pay.
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 8:00pm
Hourly rate: £20.00
Overtime paid after 40 hours at £30 per hour
On-call rota:17 weeks per year (approximately 1 week in 3)
On-call allowance paid
Call-out fee payable
Key Responsibilities
* Efficiently respond to plant and equipment breakdowns.
* Maximise production output and improve equipment reliability.
* Work safely in accordance with company health and safety policies and procedures.>
* Inspection of plant and equipment.
* Maintenance of accurate records for plant and equipment.
* Carry out planned and preventative maintenance activities.
Experience & Skills Required
* Proven experience with: Pumps, Pipes, Motors, Gearboxes.
* Electrical experience is essential.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Motivated, proactive, and methodical approach.
Qualifications
* 17th or 18th Edition Certification (or equivalent safety certification).
