Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Finance Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Proficiency in accounting software and data entry is essential for this position.
Responsibilities
* General Finance / accounting duties including processing invoices and payments.
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
* Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions
* Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
* Reconcile discrepancies in financial data and resolve issues promptly
* Utilise accounting software (Xero) for various financial tasks
* Support the finance team in various administrative duties as required
Requirements
* Proven experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred
* Familiarity with financial services and accounting principles
* Proficient in using accounting software (Xero)
* Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
