Roles that require PVG Membership
Please note that from 1 April 2023, candidates applying for roles requiring PVG membership will need to cover the cost. This applies only to roles with a full-time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above, including teaching roles and jobs at Grade 11 and above (currently £30,727 per annum / £15.97 per hour).
The Council will initially pay for the PVG membership cost—£18 for existing PVG scheme members or £59 for non-members—and this amount will be deducted from the employee’s first full month’s salary.
About the role: The role involves providing critical support to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Aberdeen City Council’s city centre multi-storey car parks. The role requires collaboration with colleagues across various Council services.

* Cleaning of buildings
* Proficiency in English (written and oral) for health & safety and operational needs
* Good written and numeracy skills
* Appropriate health and fitness levels to perform the job tasks
* Competency in operating all issued equipment
* Competency in using all cleaning products involved
* Ability to operate access control, intruder alarm, and CCTV systems
