Overview
We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while working on a wide variety of design projects. You'll assist in creating engaging artwork, supporting client projects, and preparing designs for production using our state-of-the-art printing technologies.
As part of our design team, you'll collaborate with colleagues across production and sales, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the delivery of high-quality solutions that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in creating engaging and innovative designs that align with clients' brands and project requirements.
* Prepare artwork files, mock-ups, and presentations to help clients visualise their final product.
* Support the design and printing of artworks, ensuring accuracy and quality in all outputs.
* Work closely with senior designers and production staff to meet deadlines and deliver projects to a high standard.
* Stay up to date with design trends and software developments to continually grow your skills.
* Maintain organised design files and contribute to smooth workflow within the team.
Requirements
* 1+ years of experience in a design role (internships and placements considered).
* Relevant design qualification or equivalent practical experience.
* A portfolio showcasing creativity and technical ability.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign essential).
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel an advantage).
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under deadlines.
* A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong communication skills.
* Experience with print processes is desirable but not essential (training provided).
Salary & Benefits
* Starting salary: £20,000 – £24,000 (depending on experience).
