2. About the role: Join our dedicated and welcoming short-term let licensing team, focused on ensuring accommodation in Argyll and Bute meets all safety and compliance requirements. The role is ideally based in Lochgilphead or Oban, with flexibility depending on the successful candidate. Responsibilities include handling complex applications, preparing and presenting reports to Committee, inspecting accommodation, liaising with hosts, agencies, and the public, investigating complaints, and supporting the Team Lead and team members. Previous experience in enforcing standards or working in environmental health or licensing roles is beneficial, but training will be provided.
