Field Service Engineer
Field based, covering South East region.
£70,000+ OTE + Plenty of Overtime Available + Company Van with Personal Use Option + Early Finish on Friday + 33 Days Holiday Inc Bank Holidays + Company Bonus.

This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer with experience working on diesel engines, who is looking to join a leading UK company where you will have the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime and progress your skills.
The Role
* Planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of generators, fault finding (control panel, AC/DC electrical systems, genset synchronization).
* £16.25 to £17.25 per hour basic, 39 hours per week – 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday, 3:30 pm finish Friday (1 in 4 weeks on call rota with standby rate).
* Overtime pays: 1.5× from 6:00 am to 8:00 am, then 4:30‑midnight, 2.0× from midnight to 6:00 am; current engineers do 20+ hours overtime weekly and earn between £70k‑£80k.
* SE patch based out of the Grays depot (patch covers all of London, Essex, up to Birmingham, across to Bristol, down to Bournemouth); no overnight stays required.
* Electrical training can/will be provided.
The Person
* NVQ in plant maintenance or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience working on diesel engines (generators, plant equipment, coaches/buses, etc.).
* Full UK driving licence.
* Looking to develop your skills through industry‑specific training and courses.
