Contract Dates: 17 November 2025 – 9 February 2026
Pay Rate: £16.26–£21.11 per hour (PAYE/Umbrella)
Role Overview
Worcestershire County Council is seeking a motivated Personal Advisor to support care leavers (relevant and former relevant) in their transition to adulthood. You will provide guidance, practical support, and co-ordinate services to help young people achieve the goals outlined in their pathway plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advice and practical support to care leavers.
* Participate in assessment, preparation, and review of pathway plans.
* Design and deliver interventions to support independence and well-being.
* Ensure implementation of the pathway plan and monitor progress.
* Co-ordinate services to ensure care leavers access relevant support.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including financial support provided.
* Maintain manual and electronic records in line with Directorate Recording Policy.
* Actively challenge discriminatory behaviour and report concerns appropriately.
* Report any signs of neglect, injury, or welfare concerns to the Team Manager immediately.
Person Specification / Essential Requirements
* Level 3 qualification (e.g., A Levels, HNCB/NVQ 3)
* Full UK driving licence (essential for county-wide travel)
* Enhanced DBS clearance
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Working Pattern
* Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:30
* Regular attendance at Pershore Civic on Thursdays (Monday also available)
* County-wide travel required; mobile and flexible for the rest of the week
