We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Hygiene Supervisor for an ongoing assignment based in Penzance.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout our production facility during night shifts.

3. 18:00- 02:30
Responsibilities will include:
4. Coordinate staff schedules and staffing levels based on seasonal production plans in collaboration with the Technical and Production Operations Manager.
5. Assign tasks to ensure a balanced rotation and maximise staff skills.
6. Monitor staff performance daily using the Company Appraisal System.
7. Oversee hygiene equipment effectiveness and cleanliness, addressing issues promptly.
8. Conduct thorough end-of-shift audits and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for improvement.
9. Coordinate and supervise high-level cleaning operations as needed.
10. Maintain a hands-on approach, balancing administrative and operational tasks.
11. Use plant swabs to assess cleaning effectiveness and track trends.
12. Supervise factory security procedures at shift ends.
13. Ensure smooth handovers between shifts and effective communication with supervisors and operatives.
14. Collaborate with chemical suppliers to improve cleaning methods.
15. Enforce company policies on start/finish times and breaks.
16. Conduct staff appraisals, monitor welfare, and address disciplinary issues.
17. Drive performance improvements by establishing and monitoring KPIs in a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
18. Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
19. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
20. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
21. Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation protocols.
22. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
