An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our learning community at Peel Primary School. Peel Primary School and Eliburn Nursery are non-denominational, catering for Nursery to P7 students, located in the Eliburn area of Livingston, and part of the Inveralmond Learning Community. The school strives to provide an inclusive and nurturing environment for children and their families. Currently, the school has a role of 430 pupils across 14 classes, with 65 children in the nursery, housed in a separate building. The staff team includes the Head Teacher, DHT, PT, teaching, and non-teaching staff, all working collaboratively to support and challenge learners. Our parents are highly supportive and actively engage in school life, providing valuable feedback. Our free breakfast club is well attended.
We are seeking an enthusiastic clerical assistant to support both the school and nursery. Good communication skills are essential, and you should enjoy working as part of a team. The post holder will collaborate with all stakeholders within Peel Primary School to ensure a high-quality student experience.
This position is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check before a formal offer of employment is made by West Lothian Council.
