Higham Lane School, part of the Central England Academy Trust, is delighted to welcome applications for the post of Subject Leader for Geography to start January 2026.
Applications are invited from suitably-qualified and experienced teachers to lead the Geography Department. The successful candidate will be required to teach Geography in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Geography Department and contribute to its development and improvement.
* Teach Geography to Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
* Fulfil standard pastoral responsibilities, including form tutor duties such as registration, monitoring progress and behaviour, checking uniform and student organisers, and liaising with other staff as necessary.
* Uphold safeguarding and professional conduct in line with statutory requirements and the school ethos.
