Salary: Grade 3, £26,435 - £27,588 per annum pro rata (Approximately £18,322 - £19,121 per annum pro rata, 0.69309 FTE)

Please note: This position is ideally 32.5 hours; however, part-time hours (approximately 22.5–25 per week, mornings) may also be considered.

Would you like to make a real difference in children’s lives? At Krishna Avanti Primary School, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant who can inspire confidence, curiosity, and kindness in every pupil.

Working alongside experienced teachers, you will play a vital role in supporting learning across the curriculum, fostering independence, and helping to create a classroom where every child feels valued, motivated, and encouraged to achieve their best.

You will be part of a caring and inclusive school community that celebrates individuality and promotes a love of learning rooted in mutual respect and shared values.

What will you do?

* Support teaching and learning by assisting the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons for individuals, small groups, or whole classes.
* Supervise and deliver pre-prepared activities in the teacher’s short-term absence to ensure continuity of learning.
* Promote inclusion and positive behaviour, supporting the personal, emotional, and social development of all pupils, including those with special educational needs.
* Help maintain an organised, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports effective learning.
* Uphold school policies and contribute to the safeguarding and welfare of all children and young people.

What are we looking for?

* Experience of working with relevant age group within a learning environment
* An understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities
* Ability to understand the role of parents and carers, with the ability to relate and build excellent working relationships
* Ability to observe, monitor and provide constructive feedback on pupils’ progress
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school
