This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a well-established, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their expertise to a range of high-profile projects across the civil and structural engineering landscapes. They are actively seeking a talented, experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside a growing team of professionals, based near the lively Welsh Capital City of Cardiff.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Infrastructure Engineer include:
6. Developing a range of drainage strategies for a number of development projects across industries such as entertainment and leisure, retail, etc.
7. Designing drainage systems, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), aligning with the relevant industry standards
8. Submitting SAB Applications to the relevant authorities
9. Working with documentation for the relevant Section Agreements (namely, S104, S106, S278)
10. Designing a range of roads, including estate roads for residential developments, and access roads
11. Authoring Flood Risk Assessments (FRA)
12. Utilising a range of relevant software packages, to include Civils 3D
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Infrastructure Engineer include:
13. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
14. Extensive experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK consultancy setting
15. Demonstrable experience in drainage and road designs
16. Excellent working knowledge of software packages, including Causeway PDS, MicroDrainage, etc.
17. Experience of liaising with a number of clients and other stakeholders, across a range of projects
18. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Infrastructure Engineer include:
19. Prior experience with designing highways and access roads
20. Hold Chartered Status, or actively working to attain this
21. Experience of managing projects and/or people
22. Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
