Job Description
Bennett & Game are representing a planning-led multidisciplinary consultancy seeking an Associate Director level Transport Planner to support continued growth within their Transport Planning & Infrastructure team in Bristol.
This is a senior-level role offering technical leadership, client ownership and a clear progression route within a collaborative, employee-owned environment.
Role Overview
You will play a key role delivering a wide range of transport planning projects for public and private sector clients across the UK, taking responsibility for both technical delivery and client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
* Site appraisals and site promotion
* Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
* Travel Plans and sustainable mobility strategies
* Junction and network modelling
* Development planning and infrastructure planning
* Data analysis, forecasting and reporting
* Stakeholder engagement and client liaison
* Day-to-day project management and prioritisation
* Maintaining high technical standards across projects
* Building and strengthening long-term client relationships
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Requirements
* Proven experience in Transport Planning at Senior / Principal / Associate level
* Strong report writing and interpersonal communication skills
* Confident user of ARCADY, PICADY, TRICS, TEMPro and AutoCAD
* Experience delivering development-led transport planning projects
* Comfortable in a client-facing role with relationship management responsibility
* Well motivated, proactive and commercially aware
* Working towards or already chartered with CIHT, CILT or TPS (desirable)
