THE TEAM
You’ll join our Legal team, part of the wider General Counsel’s Office, operating at the heart of the airline. The team partners closely with the business to enable delivery at pace, managing risk while supporting innovation, growth and operational resilience.
As a senior member of the Legal Leadership Team, you’ll help shape legal strategy, develop talent, and collaborate across specialist areas including company secretariat, digital safety and data protection.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, this is a senior commercial role providing strategic and pragmatic legal advice to some of the most critical areas of the airline.
You’ll be the primary legal business partner to Engineering and Maintenance, as well as supporting other operational functions, advising on high-value, long-term supplier relationships across the UK, Europe and beyond.
Your role will include
Leading negotiations on complex, long-term commercial and supply agreements with major multinational suppliers
Advising on supplier relationship management, commercial risk, and governance matters across the supply chain
Acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders within engineering, maintenance and operations
Playing a key role in setting Legal team priorities and responding to the evolving legal and regulatory landscape
Line managing and developing legal advisors within the team
Collaborating across the General Counsel’s Office and wider business to support operational delivery and innovation
Championing smart ways of working, including the use of technology to streamline and improve legal processes
