Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Engineering Manager located in YO43 4BU. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects, managing a team of 4 engineers, and ensuring the successful integration of systems and processes. Day‑to‑day tasks include leading and mentoring the engineering team, coordinating with other departments, managing software development projects, and ensuring timely project delivery and integration.
Qualifications
* Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills
* To prioritise and manage the engineering workload / activities for the site and delegate duties to subordinates for best efficiency.
* Ensure all plant, equipment and systems are maintained with suitable and sufficient protection as defined by legislation.
* To detect and rectify any issues in a timely manner, which affects the performance / safety of plant or equipment.
* Upskill multi engineers onsite so working on tools
* Proficiency in Project Management and Integration
* Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
* Experience in the food processing industry is a plus
