We’re working with a well-established commercial law firm in Manchester who are looking for a Legal Receptionist to join their friendly operations team. This is a key front-of-house role where you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers, helping to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
You’ll work within a small reception team reporting to the Operations Manager, handling a variety of responsibilities; from greeting visitors and managing calls to coordinating meeting rooms and keeping the office running smoothly.
* Welcome clients and visitors with a professional and friendly approach
* Manage visitor sign-in, security badges, and temporary staff records accurately
* Answer and direct incoming calls with a clear telephone manner, taking detailed messages
* Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare rooms with appropriate setups and refreshments
* Receive deliveries and ensure prompt distribution to relevant colleagues
* Support travel and accommodation bookings as needed
* Keep reception, kitchen, and meeting areas tidy and well stocked
* Manage daily meeting room schedules and ensure rooms are ready for the next day
* Order office and hospitality supplies, handling receipts and paperwork

* Experience in reception or telephony roles, ideally in a professional services setting
* Comfortable working with confidential information
* Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
* Friendly and professional communication skills
