This is a Senior Design Engineer opportunity for someone who wants real technical ownership, the space to think properly, and the influence to shape what "good' looks across design.
Why this role exists: The work is complex and the stakes are high. They need a Senior Design Engineer who can lead mechanical design activity end-to-end, from concept to architecture through CAD, documentation, review, and integration support with a methodical, engineering-led approach.

What you'll be doing as Senior Design Engineer:
* Leading the design and development of mechanical systems for complex applications
* Producing and reviewing CAD models, drawings and technical documentation
* Defining system architectures, materials and components to meet engineering requirements
* Supporting integration, testing and commissioning across disciplines
* Conducting design reviews and ensuring compliance with technical standards
* Collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges
What you'll bring:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
* Strong understanding of mechnical design disciplines including stress, materials and maufacturability
* Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge preferred)
* Experience designing for cost, reliability and testability
* Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into robust solutions
* Knowledge of systems engineering or multidisciplinary design environments
