The Opportunity As a Commercial Manager within our HPC Supply Chain team, you’ll be at the heart of a multi-billion-pound programme, helping to secure over 70 remaining contracts and drive commercial best practice. You’ll lead tender processes, negotiate bespoke high-value agreements and ensure governance is upheld – all while helping Britain achieve Net Zero. You’ll join us on a salary starting from £55,000 per annum. This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work from home and attend our offices at AztecWest or SDC2 in Bristol twice a week. You’ll be part of a newly created commercial centre of excellence, working with stakeholders across legal, credit risk and procurement. Who You Are We’re looking for a Commercial Manager who thrives in complex, regulated environments and values stakeholder collaboration. Are you experienced in… Managing tender processes and negotiating bespoke contracts up to £100m Working in commercial, purchasing or contract management roles Operating in highly regulated industries such as construction or energy Holding or working towards CIPS or RICS membership Driving change and value through contract performance and governance To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years. What You’ll Be Doing Leading end-to-end tender processes including strategy, market research and contract award Reviewing LTSA and framework agreements Collaborating with legal and credit risk teams to ensure due diligence Driving cost control and supply chain efficiency Supporting governance, audits and documentation in TeamCenter Pay, Benefits and Culture Alongside a starting salary of at least £55,000 per annum, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days and more.
