Community IV Therapy Nurse Location: Kirklees (Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Cleckheaton, Mirfield)Rates: £17 - £34 per hour plus mileage Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality IV therapy in the community? We’re looking for a Band 5 Nurse to join a dynamic and supportive Community IV Therapy Team in Kirklees. This is a full-time temporary role until January 2026, offering the opportunity to make a real difference to patients across the region. ?? What You’ll Be Doing Delivering IV therapies to patients in their own homes, clinics, and care homes. Managing central venous access devices (PICC lines, Mid Lines, Cannulas). Supporting early discharge from hospital through the OPAT (Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy) pathway. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across primary and secondary care. ? Essential Requirements Registered Nurse with current NMC registration. Experience in community nursing and IV antibiotic administration. Confident using SystmOne. Skilled in managing CVADs and venepuncture. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use. ?? Working Hours 37.5 hours per week across a 7-day service. Shifts: 08:00–16:00 or 13:00–21:00 (late shifts required 1–2 times per week). Weekend working is shared across the team. �? What’s Provided All clinical equipment (excluding uniform).
