Fixed Term: 01/10/2025 – 31/03/2026 (with potential for extension)

Exciting New Roles in Youth Justice – Help Shape Brighter Futures for Children

Thanks to funding from the Young Futures Prevention Partnership, we’re excited to offertwo new opportunitieswithin the Youth Justice Service for one full time and one part time Young Futures Prevention Navigators.

These newly created roles are part of a national initiative aimed athalving knife crime, reducing violence against women and girls, and tackling anti-social behaviour.

As aYoung Futures Prevention Navigator, you’ll play a vital role in delivering early intervention and diversion strategies forchildren at risk of entering the criminal justice system. You’ll work closely with the voluntary sector, police, and the Violence Reduction Unit to support a proactive, child-first approach.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the operational delivery of the Youth Justice Service
* Complete assessments and co-produce child-first plans with children and families
* Engage 1:1 with children using the ‘fresh AIR’ model (Activities, Interactions, Roles)
* Develop and implement the Young Futures model in collaboration with key partners
* Build strong relationships with the voluntary sector to support service delivery
* Contribute to performance targets and local outcomes
