To provide a comprehensive administrative service to the medical teams at the Adult Forensic Service.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Medical Support Secretary to support the delivery of services within our departments.
Excellent communication, organisational and secretarial abilities are essential.
Main duties of the job
You will be a well organised and experienced secretary with knowledge of medical terminology. You will ensure all consultants and clinicians within your role are organised and equipped to fulfil their responsibilities. Duties will include minuting of MDT ward rounds, typing of medical and other correspondence, actioning any requirements identified in minutes/typing, along with coordinating clinical activities for Adult Forensic Service.

1. Relevant level 3 competency-based qualification (such as RSA or NVQ), 2 years previous office experience or equal demonstrative experience.

23. There is an occasional requirement to travel across the wide footprint of the Trust to attend meetings and events relevant to the role.
The Trust mandates all post holders who require a DBS for their role to subscribe to the DBS Update Service. You will be required to enrol for this service for a fee of £16 per year and maintain registration throughout your employment with GMMH.
