Hunter Adams is partnering with a leading client in the drilling sector to recruit an experienced HR Advisor for a permanent onsite position in Aberdeen.
This is a key role within the HR team, providing expert guidance on a broad range of HR matters and contributing to the ongoing development of strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and facilitate disciplinary and grievance matters, ensuring full compliance with company procedures and employment legislation.
* Provide advice and support on workplace and industrial relations issues.
* Monitor and support performance management processes, including appraisals and performance improvement plans.
* Work closely with the Assistant HR Manager to enhance the company’s performance management system, providing proactive research and recommendations.
* Supervise sickness and absence monitoring strategies across the fleet, in collaboration with medical and OH providers.
* Register and manage personal injury and insurance claims with company insurers.
* Develop and implement employee engagement strategies by analysing motivation, commitment, and organisational culture.
* Support the Chief HR Officer and Assistant HR Manager in delivering HR initiatives aligned with strategic and operational objectives.
* Contribute to the creation and revision of HR policies and procedures.
* Promote and support digitalisation and automation within the HR department.
* Play a key role in the development and delivery of ongoing HR projects.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Significant experience in a senior HR advisory or generalist role.
* Strong track record in managing complex HR casework, including redundancy, disciplinary, and grievance procedures.
* Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
* Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation.
* Previous experience in the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
* Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
