St Thomas More Catholic School is a co-educational Catholic Academy which provides for the education needs of 11-18 year old pupils from the west of Gateshead L.A. We are part of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle and have a strong commitment to Catholic Education.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of English to join St Thomas More Catholic School.
The successful candidate will be a strong classroom practitioner who has the ability to motivate young people of all abilities and will be able to work well as part of a dynamic hardworking team who put teaching and learning at the forefront of everything that they do. You will contribute to the development of an excellent standard of teaching within the English department. You will be passionate about raising the achievement of all students, particularly the disadvantaged, including those with SEND.
