M&A Analyst | £27,000 - £32,000 Study Support | Chorley Hybrid (Largely Remote) | Rapidly-growing, PE backed business | Progression routes available Axon Moore are proud to be working alongside a rapidly-growing, PE-backed business in Chorley as they recruit for an aspiring Chartered Accountant, with a keen interest in M&A, to play a leading role assessing the financial implications of business decisions to aid growth and profitability. As such, this role is well suited a driven individual who wants to achieve long-term progression within a high-calibre team. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Support the execution of financial due diligence engagements including: Report writing Interpretation and analysis of information provided Building forecasts Stakeholder management Dataroom management Support delivery of other key elements of the acquisitions process including the preparation of valuations, offer letters and heads of terms Support delivery of other ad-hoc projects playing a supporting role to senior team members Required Experience and Skills: Actively pursuing ACCA, ACA or CIMA Ideally 1 years’ experience within a finance/accounts role Strong written and verbal communication skills Good organisational and multi-tasking abilities Analytical and proactive problem-solving skills Experience of working as part of a team and able to work remotely with colleagues often in virtual environments such as Microsoft Teams Good understanding of double entries and basic accounting practices Experience with Microsoft Excel, capable of the creation and maintenance of often complex spreadsheets and the analysis of data Confident with other IT and office software packages including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint Benefits: Full study support towards ACCA, ACA, or CIMA Remote working 25 days holiday (rising with length of service) plus Bank Holidays Option to buy more holidays Eyecare Pension Life Assurance
