Job Role:
As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for the calibration, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of instrumentation and measurement equipment. Working within a fast-paced engineering environment, you will ensure all equipment meets strict quality and compliance standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a methodical approach, and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy across all calibration processes.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:
* Proven experience in calibration of electrical, mechanical, or process instrumentation
* Strong understanding of calibration standards and procedures
* Relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, or equivalent)
* Ability to work double days shift pattern
Requirements:
* Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Good communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
Desirable Requirements:
* Experience with UKAS calibration standards
* Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001
* Background in electronics or instrumentation engineering
* Utilities experience (steam, air, water systems etc.)
* Mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
