Employment Solicitor – Leeds A forward-thinking legal services organisation is looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor to join its established Legal Advice team based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor who enjoys advisory work and is keen to deliver practical, commercially focused employment law guidance to a diverse client base. The Opportunity This is a client-facing advisory role within a busy and collaborative team, offering hybrid working with a Leeds office base. You will provide day-to-day employment law advice to clients across a broad range of sectors, supporting them with both contentious and non-contentious matters. The focus is on delivering clear, pragmatic guidance at an early stage—helping clients manage risk, remain compliant and resolve issues efficiently. Advising primarily via telephone and email, you will handle a wide variety of employment matters, often complex and time-sensitive, requiring a confident and commercially aware approach. You will also play a role in promoting and supporting the use of digital tools and resources that enhance client experience, alongside contributing to internal knowledge sharing and wider business initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide timely, practical employment law advice to clients via phone and email Advise on a wide range of employment matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, dismissals, discrimination and contracts Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal systems and quality standards Identify risk and provide commercially sound solutions to clients Support clients in using digital tools and legal resources Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless handling of matters requiring escalation Contribute to training sessions, webinars and client-facing content Support the development of legal resources and guidance materials About you This role would suit a Solicitor who thrives in a fast-paced advisory environment and enjoys building strong client relationships.
