Private Client Solicitor Red Recruitment is looking for an experienced, qualified solicitor to join our client, an award-winning multi-disciplinary law firm, as part of their growing Private Client department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a fantastic team to manage a varied caseload to include Wills, Power of Attorney, Estate Administration and Tax Planning. Benefits & Package for a Private Client Solitior Salary: Competitive Salary Hours: Monday - Friday, Office Hours Contract Type: Permanent Location: Kingsbridge, with some flexibility to work remotely or from other offices on occasion Excellent opportunities for career progression The opportunity to take a central role in the development of the firm's dispute resolution offering A supportive working environment with importance placed on a healthy work/life balanceKey Responsibilities of a Private Client Solicitor Manage a varied caseload of preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, tax planning, estate administration and Court of Protection work Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements. Represent clients in County Court and High Court proceedings, as well as mediations and other dispute resolution forums. Conduct legal research and provide clear, strategic advice to clients on private client issues. Liaise with clients, counsel, and third parties to progress matters efficiently and maintain strong client relationships. Supervise and support junior team members where appropriate, fostering knowledge-sharing and professional development. Ensure compliance with firm policies, risk management procedures, and professional standards. Play an active role in the continued growth and development of the private client team Demonstrate consistent fee earning Key Skills & Experience of a Private Client Solicitor Experience: Applications are encouraged from Solicitors/Legal Executives of around 3 or more years PQE or equivalent experience The ideal candidate will: Have 3 years PQE Be Step Qualified and have SFE Membership however this is not essential and training is available Have a desire to consistently fee earnYou will also: Enjoy networking and building client relationships.
