Procurement Administrator | Maidstone, Kent | £25,000 - £28,000
My client, a leading UK manufacturer, are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to join their Operations team.
This role will report to the Purchasing Supervisor, and you will play a vital role in ensuring the procurement function runs smoothly, helping to maintain stock availability, manage supplier relationships, and secure goods at the right price.
Role and Responsibility
* Raise and process purchase orders, including drop shipments
* Place orders with subcontract manufacturers, liaising to confirm specifications
* Negotiate and follow up on order delivery dates, updating the ERP system
* Maintain correct stock levels in the right locations
* Respond promptly and accurately to internal enquiries
* Request and compare supplier pricing
* Prepare reports and supporting documents for supplier meetings
Essential skills
* Previous experience in a procurement, supply chain, or purchasing support role
* Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
* Confident communicator, able to build and maintain supplier relationships
* Comfortable working with ERP systems
