We are looking for a capable and enthusiastic colleague who will contribute towards the development of the gynaecological oncology faster diagnostic service over the next decade and beyond.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at UHSussex spans across 4 sites – Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH), Brighton, Princess Royal Hospital (PRH), Haywards Heath, Worthing Hospital, Worthing & St Richards Hospital, Chichester and also includes satellite sites at Lewes Victoria Hospital, Lewes and Southlands Hospital, Shoreham by Sea.

This job will be predominantly based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, but will include some activity at other sites. Elective in-patient and day-case gynaecological surgery occurs predominantly at the PRH, whilst tertiary referral gynaecological oncology surgery takes place at the RSCH. Outpatient clinical activity occurs in both hospitals with the majority of outpatient activity being based at the newly opened gynaecology outpatient centre at PRH. Additional gynaecological outpatient and operating activity is undertaken at Lewes Victoria Hospital in Lewes and Southlands Hospital, Shoreham by Sea.

* To participate in the on call rota for obstetrics and gynaecology
* Support the provision of safe obstetric and gynaecology on-call services.
* Contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate education and supervision including ATSM and SITM training.
