At a glance: Location: Cirencester Office Workplace Type: Employment Type: month Fixed-Term Contract Seniority: Associate What you’ll be doing: We are looking for an FCP Screening Analyst to join the Financial Crime Operations team within the Risk & Compliance Division. As one of three Screening Analysts, you will work alongside colleagues in FCP Operations and report directly to the Head of FCP Operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring SJP meets its regulatory obligations in relation to sanctions, PEPs, adverse media and broader AML/CTF requirements across all SJP entities. What you’ll be doing: Analyse and investigate daily alerts generated by Financial Crime systems, including PEP/Sanctions Screening and Transaction Monitoring. Use supporting systems (e.g., Respond case management) and liaise with the Partnership where additional information is needed. Escalate confirmed matches to the Investigations (FCPO) team and raise any system issues directly with the Financial Crime Systems & Data Manager. Conduct annual reviews of known high-risk clients to ensure due diligence remains up to date and appropriately recorded. Uphold SJP Conduct Standards and support delivery of good outcomes for clients in line with Consumer Duty expectations. Who we’re looking for: An ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capability, sound judgement, and a methodical approach to reviewing Financial Crime alerts. You’ll be comfortable managing fluctuating workloads, communicating diplomatically with the Partnership, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality. This role suits someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to protecting SJP and its clients from financial crime risks. Skills & Experience: Essential Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret screening alerts. Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and content for different audiences. Ability to prioritise effectively and manage changing workloads. Sound decision-making skills when determining whether alerts require escalation. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications. Desirable Experience within Financial Crime, AML, Sanctions, or related risk/compliance roles. Familiarity with case management systems such as Respond. Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., MLR 2017, POCA, JMLSG guidance). What's in it for you?
