This role is working for a well-established and leading University within the South of England.
Job Description
3. Develop a Communications strategy to build awareness, influence and advocacy through proactive communications, relationship building and strategic reputation management (proactive and reactive).
4. Managing the team to ensure a joined-up approach to delivering on the strategy
5. Oversee the production of high-quality content for various communication channels.
6. Lead the planning and execution of public relations campaigns to enhance the organisation's profile.
7. Manage external and internal communications to ensure consistent messaging
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
9. Collaborate with senior leadership to align communication efforts with broader organisational goals.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Associate Director Communications should have:
10. Previous experience of working within a senior communications role
11. Excellent leadership, engagement and relationship skills and a passion for the Higher Education sector
12. Proven experience in strategic communications (External & Internal)
13. Strong skills in developing and managing multi-channel communication plans.
14. Expertise in public relations and stakeholder engagement.
15. Ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve communication objectives.
16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
17. A degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
18. Proficiency with communication and analytics tools to track performance.
