About the Role
The Global Demand Planner role plays a key part in driving sales performance and inventory optimization across all business channels, touching multiple areas — from supply chain planning and inventory management to technology, merchandising, marketing, finance, sales, and eCommerce. The successful candidate will develop and utilize analytical reporting to guide forecasting, purchasing, and inventory flow decisions for a premium international retail brand. The role will report to the Global Procurement Manager (US) & Director of International Supply Chain, and will follow a hybrid work setup: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and forecast SKU-level demand for all global channels, ensuring purchase orders align with open-to-buy plans.
2. Reconcile bottom-up demand projections with top-down category forecasts.
3. Build long-range forecasts to inform capacity planning and safety stock levels.
4. Partner with the supply planning team to ensure timeliness and accuracy of inbound receipts.
5. Collaborate with leadership and technology teams to automate replenishment algorithms and enhance planning tools.
6. Manage safety stock targets by SKU and communicate adjustments to production for factory execution.
