Were expanding our team following a major contract win and are looking for experienced Mobile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to deliver top tier building maintenance across Midlands.
What Youll Do
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, youll be the go - to expert for keeping our clients retail sites safe, functional, and compliant. Your day-to-day will include:
1. Performing scheduled maintenance and urgent reactive repairs across multiple sites
2. Deliver high-quality maintenance: plumbing, carpentry, tiling, painting, lamp replacement, plastering, locks, glazing & more
3. Supporting project works and minor installations as needed
4. Carry out compliance inspections, reactive repairs, minor works & project support
5. Working in pairs to complete tasks efficiently and safely
6. Participating in a 24-hour call-out rota and occasionally working away from home
7. Collaborating with coordinators and management to plan jobs and ensure materials are ready
8. Communicating clearly with clients and adapting to their needs
9. Working at height when required (MEWP/IPAF training provided)
10. Using initiative to overcome challenges and deliver high-quality result
What Youll Need:
11. Proven experience in building maintenance (retail environment preferred)
12. Flexible approach to working hours
13. Recognised trade qualification
14. Full UK driving licence
15. Strong communication, initiative & ability to work independently and in a team
16. Willingness to train (IPAF, MEWP, etc.) and adapt to new challenges
