Sales Administrator

£23,000-23,500 + performance bonus. Dependent on experience
Bell Cornwall Recruitment’s client is a manufacturer of domestic goods, based in Tyseley, Birmingham. They are seeking a Sales Administrator, who will input sales data and new orders into their systems and ensure the prompt shipping of goods. You will also be the point of contact for customer enquiries prior to delivery. There will be a degree of prospecting, following and qualifying leads via telephone.
The role:
1. Inputting sales data and orders to the Sage system
2. Ensuring and supporting with prompt shipping of good from the warehouse (liaising with warehouse staff)
3. Monitor and respond to incoming customer queries
4. Following up on leads across the region, qualifying them for sales execs or managers
5. Maintaining accurate records of sales data and pipelines
The ideal Sales Administrator will have:
6. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
7. An understanding of MS Office packages, and Sage would be highly desirable
8. Great organisational skills, able to manage multiple processes and timelines at any given time
9. Experience in sales support, customer service or perhaps more broadly administrative roles preferred
