We're Hiring: Booking Controls Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert – Belfast (Hybrid)
A leading bank in Belfast is seeking an experienced professional to join their Markets Front Office Risk & Control team. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement and a competitive daily rate of £600 (Inside IR35) for an initial 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyse and define front-to-back trade booking and order management flows.
2. Develop and document detailed business requirements for control enhancements.
3. Collaborate with Sales/Trading, Technology, Operations, and other functions to implement controls.
4. Oversee testing and go-live activities for new control implementations.
5. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
6. Maintain a working knowledge of front-to-back asset class products, gained from direct desk experience or 1LOD functions.
7. Possess strong knowledge of front-to-back order management and trade booking flows, especially around trade booking and order submission.
8. Experience working on controls-related changes, collaborating with technology teams, including writing detailed business requirements and overseeing technology implementation.
9. Subject matter expertise in Markets traded products and related control principles.
