Are you a Water Industry expert looking for a new challenge?
We are seeking a couple of key specialists to join our growing team supporting major utilities, infrastructure programmes, and digital transformation initiatives across the UK water sector. These roles offer the opportunity to work across a broad range of projects, from operational optimisation and asset strategy to smart network implementation and regulatory programmes.
You will bring strong domain expertise in water or wastewater operations, transformation, or programme delivery, and work closely with clients to provide strategic advice, technical insight, and delivery support. The ideal candidates will be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders while also contributing hands-on expertise to complex operational and transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide subject matter expertise across water and/or wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems.
* Support utility clients and infrastructure programmes with advisory, strategy, and delivery services.
* Contribute to projects involving network optimisation, leakage reduction, energy efficiency, and asset performance improvement.
* Support the development and delivery of smart water network initiatives, including digital metering, telemetry, data integration, and real-time network monitoring.
* Provide input into AMP programmes, regulatory frameworks, and investment planning.
* Lead or contribute to process optimisation, operational efficiency reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.
* Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technology-enabled transformation programmes, including analytics, IoT, and digital twin applications.
* Engage with client stakeholders, presenting findings, insights, and recommendations at both technical and leadership levels.
* Contribute to business development activities, proposals, and thought leadership within the water sector.

* Regulatory or Strategy specialists with water sector expertise

Key Experience
* Strong experience within the UK water sector, either within a utility, consultancy, or technology provider.
* Expertise in water or wastewater treatment processes, network operations, or infrastructure asset management.
* Consultancy experience
* Experience supporting AMP investment programmes, regulatory frameworks (e.g., Ofwat), or large infrastructure initiatives.
* Exposure to smart water networks, including digital metering, telemetry/SCADA, IoT sensors, analytics platforms, or integrated control systems.
* Understanding of data-driven network optimisation and operational decision support tools.
* Experience delivering client-facing advisory or consultancy engagements is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable Experience
* Experience with smart network technologies, including IoT sensors, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), or predictive analytics.
* Knowledge of digital twins, AI/ML applications in network monitoring, or asset performance platforms.
* Experience supporting capital delivery programmes or infrastructure transformation projects.
* Familiarity with sustainability, energy efficiency, and net zero initiatives within water utilities.
