Job Description:
Happy Energy Solutions Ltd is expanding our team and looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Retrofit Business Development Officer to lead engagement with local authorities and social housing providers. This role plays a key part in driving energy efficiency initiatives and building strong partnerships that support the delivery of carbon-saving projects across communities.

Responsibilities include:
* Act as the main point of contact for local authorities and social housing providers within a designated geographical area.
* Promote HESL’s offerings, including ECO funding, HEATflex, local HEAT websites, and carbon-saving solutions.
* Advise stakeholders on funding and energy efficiency measures.
* Develop and maintain partnerships with charities, community groups, and housing providers.
* Plan and deliver local community engagement events supporting carbon reduction.
* Coordinate project implementation and ensure clear communication among stakeholders.
* Support funding applications and reporting for energy efficiency initiatives.
* Produce reports tracking outcomes such as carbon and energy bill savings.
Qualifications and skills:
* Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, especially with local authorities or housing providers.
* Good understanding of carbon reduction strategies, ECO/HEATflex schemes, and energy funding.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
* Experience attending community events and programs.
* Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
* Experience working with charities or community groups (desirable).
* Knowledge of local government frameworks and funding cycles.
* Qualification in environmental sciences, energy management, or related fields (desirable).
Location: Hybrid, Home-Based (within close proximity to London and the South East). Regular travel to London, South East, and occasionally further afield is required.
