We are seeking a versatile and proactive Onsite IT Support Technician to manage a range of desktop, network, and facilities-related tasks. This role requires hands-on experience with hardware installations, network patching, and general IT support operations. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, organized, and capable of supporting both technical and logistical aspects of IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Desktop Focused Tasks

1. PC install and removal
2. Patching and Network checks (desktop)
3. Housekeeping includes documentation, storage and disposal (IT decom and recycling)
4. Monitor arm and pole adjustments and install
5. Desk moves and changes
6. Specialist desk installations (electric and height adjustable)
7. Audio Visual support
8. Phone support
9. Desktop support
10. Gop allocation
11. Floorwalks and checks

Network/Facilities Focused Tasks

12. IT infrastructure and cabinet install and changes
13. Patching copper and fibre
14. Desk moves and changes
15. Condeco installation and support
16. WAP installation and support
17. Housekeeping includes documentation, storage and disposal (network)
18. Printer support moves and changes
19. Specialist desk installations (electric and height adjustable)
20. Any issues with IT desk furniture

General Tasks

21. Loading Bay and Post room deliveries and collections
22. Project Support

Key Skills & Experience

23. Proven experience in a Desktop Support or Desktop Support role (minimum 2 years).
24. Strong expertise in Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments, including troubleshooting and configuration.
25. Experience with corporate mobile devices (iPhones, Android phones, iPads) and mobile device management.
26. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to empathize and engage effectively with end users.
27. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple service requests and prioritize tasks in a busy, fast-paced environment.
28. Excellent communication skills, especially in face-to-face interactions with non-technical users.
29. Understanding of ITIL processes and a desire to apply them to improve IT services.
30. Willingness to take on leadership roles in customer-focused projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
