Full-Time Primary Mainstream Teacher – EYFS Class – Primary School in Bournemouth, Dorset
GSL Education are delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Primary Mainstream Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bournemouth. This full-time role is within an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) class and is set to begin in September 2025, offering a competitive salary between £30,000 and £44,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The school is open to applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators who are committed to nurturing young learners in a supportive and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities of Primary Mainstream Teacher:
Deliver engaging, play-based lessons tailored to EYFS pupils.
Plan and implement creative and differentiated learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, offering constructive feedback and support.
Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
Stay informed about best practices and updates in early years education.
Requirements for Primary Mainstream Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A strong passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
Experience teaching in EYFS (desirable but not essential).
Effective classroom management and lesson planning skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps).
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
