We are currently seeking a highly motivatedindividual with strong interpersonal skills and experience ofworking in a visitor attraction, to join our team as a VisitorServices Manager. Gnoll Country Park is currently undergoingtransformational change, with £12M investment into new facilitiesand services including the restoration of heritage features,additional indoor and outdoor attractions, on site accommodationand plans to develop the venue further. This vacancy presents anexciting opportunity to be part of a team that can influence andmanage this change, to achieve the ambition of becoming adestination attraction for visitors.
As a Visitor Services Manager you willsupport the Park Manager in the delivery of Gnoll Country Park'sbusiness plan and support in the management of the efficientdaily running of the visitor facilities, providing a safe andenjoyable environment for all visitors to Gnoll Country Park.
Your daily routine will include ensuringthat the park and facilities are safe, clean and ready foropening each day and securely closing the premises at the end ofeach working day. Being on hand to assist all park visitors,preparation and monitoring of rotas and staffing managementacross the venue, compliance with health and safety principlesand legislation, and supporting the safe and efficient operationor catering premises and activities across the venue. The roleoffers plenty of variety and no day is the same. The VisitorService Manager will play a crucial role in motivating staff andleading by example, supporting with operations and participatingin rota patterns when required.

* Significant experience of working in abusy visitor attraction.
* Experience of supervising staff andplanning rotas
* Knowledge of Health and SafetyPrinciples
* Ability to plan and implement work andmaintenance programmes
* Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills including ability to deal with customercomplaints
* Experience of organising and mangingevents.
