The Best Connection are working closely with our client to source additional HGV Class One (C+E) Drivers for their Thirsk operation.
* We have ad-hoc positions also available to suit your availability*
The role:
* The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
* Starting at the Thirsk hub you will be driving across the country to deliver goods using flatbed vehicles.
* Strapping and securing load
* All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
* Achieving delivery slots
* Using website-based delivery scheduling
* Completion of electronic delivery notes and any associated paperwork
Hours of work:
06.00 - 16.00 Monday to Friday
The candidate:
* C+E (Class One) Licence
* In date CPC and DIGI Card
* Experience using Flat Bed trailers preferred
Rewards:
* £16.83 Umbrella / £13.50 per hour (PAYE) for first 8 hours worked Monday to Friday
* £25.43 Umbrella / £20.25 per hour (PAYE) after 8 hours per day
